Mike’s framing career started in
the west metro area while still in high school, it continued while studying business administration at the university
in Mankato (where he met Sandi’s family). Summer employment in Yellowstone National Park gave him Montana fever and
his framing skills were put to work in Bozeman Montana in 1990. In 1997 he opened his first shop, serving the communities
of Bozeman and Big Sky Montana. In 2006 he moved back to the Twin Cities area to marry Sandi, the girl who had stolen
his heart all those years before.
Sandi continues to work as director of
a biology lab for the cancer center at the University of Minnesota. The attention to detail that her job requires is
translating well as she aquires the skills and craftsmanship to help with framing production.
Jonah is currently in 5th grade. He has
shown a great curiosity in framing. Given the creativity and motivation he has shown in art and music, we think he shows
great promise as a future picture framer.
